The Truth About Global Warming

Have you noticed all the "GO Green" terms springing about lately? It seems everywhere you go its politically correct to go green, that is to save the environment, save the earth and all her precious resources. We've been told that our usage of man-made gases such as exhausts from our cars and industrial emissions are causing a green house effect that is causing the temperatures all over the globe to rise. One of the effects is that the ice at the North and South Poles have started to melt and the seas and oceans will eventually rise and flood our coastal cities and eventually all the lands of the world. This scenario has been brought forward by highly educated scientists and many of our government leaders have jumped on board. There's been an attempt to turn the tide, so to speak, around and halt the rise of global temperature-but at a great cost! Higher taxes!
Please don't get me wrong I'm all for:
- Efficient use of our natural resources.
- Finding alternative energy sources.
- Conserving and protecting our land, air and water supplies.
But I always let the light of the Word of God reveal what should ,can and will not happen and what are mans real motives. quite a while ago the more I heard the term "Global Warming", a scripture in Genesis Chapter 8 came to mind. After the Great flood The Lord spoke to Noah:
20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.21 And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease."
Gen 8:20-22 (NKJV)
Well, the earth is presently here, planted crops are growing and harvested, It's cold in Chicago, warm in Miami, winter is now with us and summer parted a few months ago. There that's the final Word on Global warming, It is written! It's not going to happen!
The Truth in The Word
But the whole world wants to go green whether people would like to or not. This saving of the earth is grounded in ancient idol worship in this case worship of Mother Earth as the Greeks use to worship the goddess Diana. There is no Mother Earth or Mother Nature only Father God. The Bible in Genesis gives the human race our mandate for the planet earth.
Genesis 1:27-31 (Amp)
So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of
God He created him; male and female He created them.
[28] And God blessed them and said to them,
Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth,
and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of
God and man]; and have
dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over
every living creature that moves upon the earth.
[29] And God said, See, I have given you every plant yielding seed
that is on the face of all the land and every tree with seed in its
fruit; you shall have them for food.
[30] And to all the animals on the earth and to every bird of the
air and to everything that creeps on the ground—to everything in
which there is the breath of life—I have given every green plant for
food. And it was so.
The Lord gave us instructions we're to fill the earth and subdue it, use everything this planet contains for our existence and in the service to our God. Its to serve us not we serve it. We are currently in the end times that Jesus spoke of in
There are secular people who control the world systems, such as government, media, education, entertainment and others. They don't know Jesus and are hostile to the gospel of Christ. These people whether they know it or not are controlled by Satan's forces, they are principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies. These are fallen angels part of Satan's kingdom of darkness. And they influence the people of the world and even some of God's people.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.2 Cor 4:3-4 (KJV)
The enemy wants to proclaim his story as truth and doesn't want any opposing views or opinions expressed. He demonizes opposing views through the media, which he presently controls. This is how you Know it's the devil. God gives you a choice, the devil forces, assaults and batters you, He projects fear through ignorance, ignorance of the Word of God, He's a bully and a murderer if you allow him to be.
44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.John 8:44 (NKJV)
Now these scientists politicians and intellectuals stand behind this global warming idea with the flimsiest of proof. I once saw video footage of large ice masses breaking away from glaciers and falling into the sea. Now this is suppose to be evidence of the polar ice caps melting due to rising temperatures. First of all the poles are not the most habitable or frequently visited places on the globe. Glaciers have been breaking apart for centuries, its a natural condition for them. The earth's land masses are constantly shifting and this also affects the polar regions. It's not as if these places are off the coast of Miami and millions of people visit and live there everyday to observe this happening. But because these men are educated at the finest universities, they must know what they're talking about.
We cant blindly place our trust in men steeped in ideology because they're educated because if they are not walking in the wisdom and integrity of God, they can simply be liars or easily duped to accept the current philosophies of these times no matter how screwy they may be. People in this country have heard these experts call for action to head off this global warming before it's to late and almost immediately the country was thrown into bad winter weather. The weather took a turn for the worst after Thanksgiving three and a half weeks before the official start of winter. Snow, ice storms and freezing temperatures hit much of the nation even in the west. Snow even hit Las Vegas, Nevada in the desert but the earth is heating up they say. Unrighteous men making unrighteous decisions for all mankind, denying the wisdom and deity of God almighty to exalt themselves to rule over others.
The Sign Of The Times
The Apostle Paul in the New Testament spoke of the condition of man in the last days and believe me these are the end times.
2 Tim. 3:1-4 (Amp)
BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in)
perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and
hard to bear].
[2] For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered,
lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for
wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be
abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful,
unholy and profane.
[3] [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and
inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they
will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and
loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of
good.
[4] [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated
with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and
vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.
I'm sure we can agree that this is the state of mankind today.
The Word is always accurate it tells the heart of man and the
mission of the evil one.

This is why we see the economic woes, the multibillion dollar stockmarket thefts, the vicious wars, the persecution of Jews and Christians, the gross immorality that is so permissive in our society today. Satan's pushing every button he can to wreck havoc on the earth, because the time of his judgment is coming. But until then we the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ must expose and put a halt to his every plot and scheme.

We must pray and
gird up for battle, We fight the good fight of faith, Jesus is with
